ASHUNTE

ASHUNTE

Tiny Ashunte is a giggle box. A four-year-old prankster. One of her favorite things to do is to tell people—even total strangers—that they have a spider crawling on them. Then, with a bright twinkle in her eyes, she waits for their reaction.

Ashunte is enjoying her first summer with Dallas Metro. The Metro staff and the other kids have found her laugher and positive attitude infectious.

“I like singing the songs and playing the games,” explains Ashunte as she giggles away.

Ashante’s mom, Jeniqua, noticed the Metro sidewalk truck in her neighborhood. As a child Jeniqua had attended Metro programs—so she wanted her young daughter to be a part of what Metro had to offer.

“I am glad I did. Things have worked out very well for Ashante.”
