Delivering Hope to Inner City Children of Dallas

Founded in 1988, Dallas Metro strives to infuse hope into the children of Dallas’ inner-city neighborhoods. Through various programs, we provide spiritual, social, and physical aid to our city’s most at-risk children. Dallas Metro has impacted thousands of lives and continually searches out those in need. Every day, our staff and volunteers are out on the streets, bringing hope to the hopeless.

Dallas Metro has spent over 35 years reaching children and families in the most underserved communities of our city. Our mission is simple but bold: Meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children in the inner-city, through the grace and power of Jesus.

What We Do

Metro Kids - Our flagship ministry engages over 2,000 children weekly through a multifaceted approach that includes personal home visits, after-school programs, and a Saturday bus ministry. These initiatives are designed to provide consistent support and mentorship, fostering positive relationships and addressing the unique needs of each child.
DMY - Dedicated to fostering holistic development in underserved youth by integrating literacy, healthy nutrition, and leadership training. We aim to bridge opportunity gaps and empower the next generation of leaders to become cycle-breakers. These young men and women become our core volunteers and are instrumental to our growth.
Practical Needs - We provide basic groceries for any family in need that lives in the neighborhoods we serve. We also distribute clothing, coats, and household goods as needed.
Seasonal Outreach - From summer camp, school supplies, turkey giveaways, toys for Christmas, to a birthday gift; we reach our communities on a year-round basis.
